STOW -- A Garfield Heights man is facing numerous felony charges in connection with allegations that he sexually assaulted seven girls ages 10 to 15.

According to Stow police, the United States Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested 49-year-old Scott R. Brundage at his home Aug. 8. He has been charged with four counts of first-degree felony rape, eight counts of third-degree felony gross sexual imposition, two counts of fourth-degree felony sexual imposition, one count of fourth-degree felony corrupting another with drugs and two counts of third-degree misdemeanor sexual imposition, according to a secret indictment.

He was taken to Summit County Jail.

Police said the corruption charge was based on an allegation that Brundage induced one victim to ingest illegal substances.

Stow police said an investigation began this past January when the youngest alleged victim reported that Brundage, a family acquaintance, had allegedly been sexually assaulting her at the home. Police said that the investigation determined that the girl's sisters were also allegedly assaulted and in March, another woman alleged that Brundage had also allegedly assaulted her daughters when they had been at the home of the initial alleged victims.
