Queen of Hearts coming to Kent

Garrettsville's Queen of Hearts will be heading to downtown Kent this Sunday. The event will be held in Hometown Bank Plaza and will honor Adam Hamilton, who was killed in military action on May 28, 2011.

Starting at 2 p.m., Gary Pirrung will perform on acoustic guitar, followed at 3:30 p.m. by the band "Invincible," featuring the vocals of Michelle McDowell crooning out hits from the 1980s.

Then at 5:30 p.m., SkyLane Bowling will be paying tribute to Hamilton and raising money for the Adam Hamilton Foundation.

The drawing for a winning ticket will take place at 6 p.m. Current jackpot is worth more than $263,000. At last month's drawing, a Garrettsville man won $65,753.

Alcoholic beverages from Thirsty Dog Brewery will be served. Tickets will be available at SkyLanes Bowling after 7 a.m., ending at 1 p.m.
